So Conan was hosting this old creeper lab from when the mod was first made. It was pretty dull and old, and it was way too easy in my opinion. The theme was very tasty though, so I made a creeper lab of my own. Big credits go to Cancel [19516] for making most of the props (mostly because i threathened to kill him if he didn't).

The story is that a lab researched a specific chemical. But due to a broken sample case it was explosed to air, and it triggered a violent unstoppable chemical reaction. The lab was immediately sealed off from the outside world, and an elite team of chemical cleanup units was hired. You are that team.

The layout is simple.
There is a center reactor which was used to create the element. This is the center room. It is submerged into water to stop the radiation as with normal reactors, but it got contaminated due to the chemical and is equally hazardous as it. There are 4 directions to go to from the main chamber, one being the spawn. The other sides are a computer research lab to the left of the spawn, a containment area dead ahead of the spawn and the creeper design lab itself right of the spawn. All are interconnected but sealed by blast doors. All the rooms are seperated from the center (including the spawn) by heavy sealing doors, openable by hand. The creeper cannot surpass these as long as they are closed. So don't let some dimwit leave theim open. One of the doors is completely broken, with the closing mechanism ravaged, and the other's glass is shattered, so the creeper may slowly pour in. The spawn and lab are perfectly sealed off though. From the containment area you may also go upstairs. Upstairs has a vent that takes quite long for the creeper to reach, but once it doesn, it leads to the computer lab (although seperated by a small blast door). it may however directly pour into the main room.

This took like, what, 2.5 hours with the 2 of us?



We are currently looking for 3 beta-testers to give us an opinion about level of fun and map detail/appearance because it's hard to judge for ourselves.

Why you should test:
The beta testing will consist of about 3-5 rounds of differing difficulties to see what is best.
Tip: Check that ALL creep bricks of a source are gone. It might go 'dormant' ad then lash back after you did another source. Me and Cancel cleared the upstairs, then downstairs, to just see a completely overrun upstairs after that.

Rating is allowed, but this is more of an application opportunity and callout for testers, so the pictures show far from everything.

Why I should test: I feel like I would find good ways to hold back the Creeper (as well as the most efficient routes to run away from it...) Also I want some more experience playing Creeper games.

but if you ask me it could use a few more areas, plus a slowed down creeper growth rate time.
oh and some dark lighting would really help too, that would make it really awesome and atmospheric.
dont forget the fog!

Why you should test: Back when the mod was released, I enjoyed creating many creeper maps to test it's behavior. I understand how the creeper functions, and I'd like to test.

This is exactly what I meant to build in the first place. However, at the time, I wasn't that good at building, and yesterday I didn't have the time nor the patience to build a new one.

Excellent. However, I'd like to ask if there are any alignment issues when the creep goes over chairs/props. I found that as the most annoying bug of my own build.
