really, font choice is one of the most important things in a logo, if you choose to use some.

I'm not sure why the font came out like that. Do you have another suggestion for a font? I could change it right now.

If you typed the font first then resized it that would explain why its blurry (assuming photoshop)

make it really big then shrink it down.

I can't go with the outline. I'm using the "Grow" tool (Using GIMP by the way) so expand the selection of the font, then put that layer behind the text and fill it with a different color. Problem with that though is that the fill-in has jagged edges. Overlaying smaller, different colored text over the larger text doesn't produce the same effect or look nice. Should I just scrap the outlines and just fix the crispness of the text?

If you have a suggestion for a more "serious" font, feel free to let me know.

Awdax If you give me the font and the bg pic, I can get that effect down. I use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and Adobe Flash also has some functions that do exactly what you're trying to get.
