Either way, constant snide comments are rather irritating.
The weapons taking a half hour to get was more intended to suggest the possibility of item saving/loading for all players, because if they're not much part of the roleplay and you gotta be able to defend yourself, I don't see the point of losing them constantly.

Wait, possibility: Perhaps the bricks were last saved during a horde event, but the time was changed afterwards, resulting in all the zombies acting like the horde event was still going despite being in broad daylight? Or something to that effect...

I told him to try changing the time, but he didn't.
