So what exactly happens when you try to use Player Persistence and it fails horribly?
Player Persistence saves the player's location. I suggested it to Knaz and we decided to use it, until we had one problem...
It doesn't seem to work very well with minigame spawns or something, so people would spawn in the air, fall, and become incapacitated. Really broke the immersion and it was annoying. It would be nice if it worked, maybe we could try again - with the new spawns and everything, and people being teleported through the tutorial. It would be nice if player's could have the items and locations saved when the leave.
Maybe if it doesn't work Lugnut could try whipping up a script to do the same.
