I'm going to be out of town until Monday night, so don't expect me on the server for a few days.

So wait why exactly is the server down?

Also, if I can't see the shadows on my single player, I can't see them on other servers either?
Is this gonna be fixed any time soon?
It would suck if I was seeing different things than other people.
It DOES suck because you're seeing different things than other people.

But it won't affect gameplay or anything. It's purely aesthetic. There's no problem here.

Idk, if shaders alter what the player sees, some players may "notice" things differently.

The day/night cycle better be pretty long if everything's gonna be automated, seriously. 20 minute long night/day?

Actually we discussed this a while ago, a whole day will be forty-eight minutes. That's twenty-four minutes of day and twenty-four minutes of night.

I suggested this because this is how it is in GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption - and it's perfect. Not too long and not too short, especially for a role-play.

That is really smart.

...Why isn't the server up?

Also, how many seconds is forty-eight minutes?

Oh, it's 2880. You have to input it as 28800 in the gui or otherwise it doesn't work correctly.

I think it's because Kalphiter's servers are not updated to the new release yet.

i haven't updated it lol

lemme go do that

here's hoping i don't have to create an entire motherloving gamemode_bluzone

it appears to be up
someone test it

I just need to download some things and spawn. Keep in mind I'm on a laptop and cannot see shadows and shaders. I'm just checking if everything is running and everything, along with the day and night cycle.

Exactly.
Day and night cycle will run, I forgot to put the events on like a dumbass.
