Okay how about this

stuffposting for more than four posts in the thread earns you a three day ban.

Continuing this offense after the first day ban earns you a week ban.

Continuing after the second ban is a permanent ban.

note - after four posts of stuffpost, you are leveled up to the ban. for example, someone with a clean record who posts 8 stuffposts will not be banned for a week, but instead will be banned for three days. plus it will go on your permanent record (dun dun dunnn)

or nah we'll talk it up in a piddly debate
if you go overboard and post like 15 stuffposts (hereafter "sp's") we'll probably bump you up to a one-week vacation ban

yeah i like it

is kniaz gone yet or can i approve that

plus as an added bonus if you piss us off on the forums for whatever reason (idk, being Glass/Moby/Glassy or someone like him) we'll probably count that against you too

so play nice ok?

Way to be, Ike.
Only problem is that stuffposting has a kind of loose definition, so I'd say a specific number wouldn't be so fair. It's pretty uncommon that anyone would post exactly 4 stuffposts though, so it wouldn't be a problem. Or the definition of stuffposting could be clearly defined.
Thanks Ike and Luggage

Correct, I agree to this rule addition.

i dont see a problem with the occasional stuffposting since it's always entertaining, considering this is a very serious RP.

Yeah, as long as it doesn't get excessive.

Lugnut, I forgot when my Ban ends.

I haven't been counting due to school

:/

4 posts at once is fair
Oh yeah and I think a more fair and easy rule would be 4 stuffposts per 10 (or more or less or whatever) pages is better because neither the admins or the posters will remember exactly how many irrelevant posts they've made.
If this is already what you had in mind, good on you.

inside jokes are okay, but stuff totally unrelated ("ok i aggr - forget it, im eating a hot pocket!") is not, and is SP

we weren't gonna ban people for stuff done prior to the rule...

Ok then. But still, what if someone makes 3 stuffposts, then months later they make 1?
I might be thinking too hard about it, but it should be in black in white so there's no unfairness in the future.

i know exactly how you feel. that's where the fact that we're human comes in.
if we get the feeling that someone is evading a ban we'll ban them.

Yeah there haven't really been any unfair bans so I doubt there'll be any problems at all.

Plus I think "Respect is earned" is a very important concept, so it's not completely stuffposting.
Really? Because in that context you were stuff posting, going back and saying "well it's an important concept" doesn't cut it. That's just you backpedaling and trying to make yourself look good.

There are different types of admins. I never said what you had to be, I just said you can choose what type to be.
No, you definitely told us what we had to be. That's like saying "You can be a Doctor or a Lawyer when you grow up and nothing else" and calling that not telling someone what to do. You are telling someone what to do. You're just giving them extremely limited options that doesn't make it any less power-hungry looking, in this context anyway.

There's a big difference between being roostery/feeling superior and trying to help.
This is the part that really gets me.

Trying to help? Are you serious?

Clearly you don't. You shouldn't even start it.
Just because you're an admin doesn't mean these rules don't apply to you. If anything you need to follow them closer than the rest of us.
Don't get roostery.
It's hard to look at this as "trying to help" when the post is literally you getting hotheaded at someone and demanding that they follow rules and that they should keep their head down because they're an all powerful and consequence-immune Admin.
