Author Topic: What is you position on the legal stance of Marijuana (Polls closed)  (Read 4808 times)

If you're stupid enough to use it knowing the effects of what it can do, and suggesting you're not forced; you should not be put in jail, rather a padded room.
I'm not aware of any real adverse effects, however if you consider the high itself a bad effect I can't really speak. It's not addictive in the way other drugs are. The only real addiction that it could possibly have is how people like and want more of good things.

In fact, nobody has overdosed on it. The effects it has may have had a part in some deaths however. Although there probably aren't many of these, most people who smoke it (as far as I know) don't do anything really dangerous while under its influence.

You can also get rid of the effects the smoke has on your lungs by vaporizing it.

This kinda reminds me of the "Anti-Drug" month we had in school. Every few days it'd be a new drug, and I got points marked off for describing some of the benefits of marijuana. I asked her what her reasoning was for marking the question wrong, and all she would say is that "I'm an adult and I know more than you do, don't question me."

Legal. 18+ or 21+. Limitations.

I say decriminalization.  It will still be illegal, but a misdemeanor.  That will keep most people off it, that way we don't have thousands of bums.

It should be totally legal, and there should be no driving restrictions on it. If some dumbass wrecks his car whilst being baked, it's his own damn fault.
The word you're looking for is "Subsidize".

thats loving awful reasoning.
what if he wrecks his car into a nursing home and kills all the elderly people? what if he crashes into a family of 4 having a picnic?

Or a gas station next to a nursing home?

you can't leave individuals to be able to make decisions like that lol
everybody would get baked and be dumb
humans are dumb enough anyways

legalize for sure.

it's worked everywhere it's been done.

should be like alcohol, considering I'm pretty sure its effects are less than or equal to alcohol's
21 and up, and DUI counts for it too

I say legalize and make it affordable. Only because if it's an incredibly expensive good, there will still be a lot of crime around it. That or legalize and tax the forget out of it and get rid of the bloody debt.

legalize for sure.

Exactly. The Swiss legalized it and their perfectly fine. In fact, most people buying it there turn out to be american.

marijuana smells absolutely awful and makes me want to pass out from the stench

cause one time at school someone smoked weed in the 9th grade wing boys bathroom and it stunk up the entire wing.

illegal for sure

Regular cigarettes smell bad. They are banned from most public places and children, like how marijuana would be if it were legal

If something should be illegal for smelling awful, it should be illegal for Lord Tony to exist.
