Gas prices have gone up even though he is always talking about reducing dependency on foreign oil. I only like his support in withdrawing troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. But the republican candidates don't stand a chance and they aren't great ones. He is really also all talk and no action. He talks about how bad big corporations are and to support small businesses but they are already being closed down. He also talked about increasing jobs in the US but now more and more are being sent overseas than ever

That's not really related, the gas companies choose how much they sell gas at.

Edit: Worded that wrong, the gas companies generally don't try to lower the prices, even if oil prices start to go down.
