whys the gun purple?
Once in a far away land, an epic battle was waged between 143 factions. All of the factions were lead by honorable people, who wanted to properly identify and bury their dead. The problem was, everybody wore a mass-produced uniform that only had a spot of color and a letter/number/other character used to identify between factions, making quick body retrieval difficult. To make matters worse, the spot of color was almost always lost to bullets as they provided a useful target, making soliders unidentifiable. They solved this problem by coloring the guns instead, which could quickly be identified. After the war ended, a graverobber who happened to like purple stumbled across a purple gun when he was defiling the graves of the fallen. Awestruck, he stole it. It was soon lost to a vortex in space-time, however, and it landed in a city metropolis next to the hitman's client. He liked purple as well and when hiring a hitman to kill some chump, he told him to use it for undisclosed reasons, aka "FOR PURPLE!".
THERE.
