wait are you guys like missing them or did it all glitch up and you lost it all?

Because at your base a bunch of stuff was glitching out which kind of turns me off to building. I don't want to make something big and nice, then have it rendered useless due to some glitches.

all the things downgraded

the marble bricks outside turned to just marble

the advanced macerator turned into an advanced machine brick, all the other machines turned into machine bricks, everything to do with power was downgraded (gold wires to copper, MFE to BatBox, Transformer to BatBox, ect.). I think it was something that trifax did but i don't think it's his fault.

we're working hard on rebuilding, lol.
We have a single solar panel hooked up to an MFE in one of the rooms, and we have lappacks to use with mining drills and such. we'll basically use RE batteries for the time being

and the ABSOLUTE BIGGEST TIP I can give you for industrialcraft is:
take heavy, unnecessary precautions. It may save you 12 diamonds (yes, that's a firsthand example)
read the wiki and take what they say literally. you will get forgeted if you forget to remove the right things with the right tools.

You should stop linking to the forum and link to a specific topic for a good tutorial because I'm 95% sure a lot of the tutorial maps are stuffty or incomplete.

What the hell just happened.


Trifax gets on and walks into our (Me, Orion, Da3d, etc..) base, and then all the sudden EVERY SINGLE MACHINE gets downgraded to NOTHING. All our solar panels became generators, and all our machines became metal blocks. Our personal safes were wiped of all contents, and several dozen cows were spawned on top of our base.

It wasn't him. I checked server logs, and something broke. No idea what it was, but to my knowledge he returned everything to you guys. Don't point fingers just because he's an admin.

I tried to enjoy myself, but it was quite hard what with when I was starting out good that MrR(something) stood me up for 4 pieces of raw beef, then shot me with his huge rifle anyways. Then gloated about it.

Plus, I had no idea where the city was, that one elevator was broken due to someone having griefed the redstone, and one thing about Tekkit is that it's hard to start out when someone else has already started unless you're with them.

Once you get his real name, I'll take care of the situation. In terms of the spawning, when I get online, I'll post the coordinates of the main city in the OP. strongly considering rethinking the whitelist and reseeding the map for a fresh start.

A whitelist for a server like this would only be useful for players you KNOW are idiots, or basing off of what you know about them from the forums or in-game. But by going off that second one you would be going against your whole "doesn't matter what our stance is on the forums" deal.

I say get more op's or find some way to implement anti-griefing

Anti grief is on its way, but I'm searching fr something strictly anti grief, not all the other bloatware.
