Yes, I find it boring. Are you saying that those photos are engaging in any special way? Both of those are "oh look, a building" or "oh look, a lamp." Neither of them have particularly interesting subjects or anything redeeming in terms of composition. They're not bad, they're boring.
The photo on the left kind of makes you feel cold in a way, and the one on the right as a warm feeling to it, because of the heated orange colour. It almost seems warm inside the lamp as opposed to the coldness of the darkness that surrounds it.
You're just not creative enough to realize that
