I always have the problem of not being able to gain altitude in jets when I take off on my own. I usually end up with the nose at a 20 degree angle while not gaining altitude.

Yeah, I usually get up to about 250-300 and then pull up. It mostly happens with the SU-34 though.

Put the flaps all the way down and don't try to lift off manually. If the runway's long enough, the aircraft should lift off by itself.

That worked, but I did 3/4 of a Kulbit later and crashed lol

Odd, I don't have a problem with jets.

I just went on a pretty awesome server. Flew an Av-8b, A-10, Su-25 and Su-34 or whatever.
I'm getting good at jets, once i took down two vehicles in one burst. I'm loving this game so far.

I've killed enemy planes in apaches. They were pretty slow though and up in the air and coming at me.

I've shot down helicopters with hydras

I've also dogfighted an L-9AZ and a SU25 in a littlebird and shot them both down.


apaches are easy in air to air

If anyone needs professional flying help, im happy to train with you

Why do you guys have so much trouble with jets? Seriously they're so easy. Don't try to get altitude until you're at 250 km/h.

Damn, I got onto multiplayer and all the Domination servers had a low population. It seems almost everyone is playing DayZ.

I just had trouble taking off. I'm good once I get in the air, however I haven't gone up against an entire human squadron.

Mmm pepsi dude. Try the F35 Auto hover. That is the best thing i can recommend for beginners.
Or the F22.

But both will get you a good start on planes.
Make sure you learn how to land though.

I've actually been practicing landings. I'm pretty decent at it, sometimes I come in a little off but that's all.
