Author Topic: Help me get in shape!  (Read 3935 times)

Backing down to a can a day sounds pretty bad

I never had soda at my house unless its a special occasion. My parents don't buy it except the ginger ale my dad gets for his alcohol stuff
But when i got to a friends house with a lot of soda i freaking empty their fridge.
And thats why I have no friends anymore

i want to lose weight and gain muscle by eating doughnuts and all my favorite treats btw i only have like 10 minutes freetime between WoW raids so i rlly rlly rlly only have 10 mins to excercise. thnx. also i dont excercise on weekens.

Well first off you have to stop lying to yourself and admit you aren't in shape, being "kind of flabby but still in shape" is probably not true. Then start jogging or running, and stop eating chips and drinking soda every day, it doesn't help.

If there are some type of sports some guys you know or friends play after school or at lunch, participate and be active, don't be mr. tubs and eat those wraps and chips. As someone stated, eating breakfast also helps, but don't wake up and eat some Coco-Puffs or some stuff, get a muffin and eggs or toast with some oj. Lastly, be commited. Don't be a wuss and just stop eating 5 cheesburgers and 5 packs of chips, actually exercise and keep exercising.

Also Alyx Vance is a massive friend.

try more donuts and maybe some whiteboy jacks

Everyone knows how to get in shape already but they ask how in hopes someone will be like "oh you didn't know just sit on your ass and eat candy all day and youll get big and buff." You have to eat right and exercise if you want to get in shape big surprise I know.

If you cut the soda and change the stroll around the neighborhood into a jog, you'll be set.  And I Amadou recommend pushups and sit ups in the morning, afternoon, evening, and before bed.  Try and increase three amount you can do each week.

*Thud*

There.
He doesn't work out (technically) regularly, so let's show off by posting a hardcore cardio workout for him to do! Maybe they'll even imply that I do insanity!

By the sound of it, you are in shape. Or more rather a shape.  A circle. :D

Personally, I drink soda maybe once every 2 weeks and I almost never eat candy.  I try to do pushups, situps, pullups, and 30 minutes on my punching bag at least 4 times a week.  This keeps me fairly toned, you could try that.

This summer I have a lot of time on my hands, since my job starts at noon, so I'm going to start running hard and working out (lifting weights) daily in the mornings.

Edit:
Also for motivation:

Don't let people look at you and use you as a benchmark for their progress.  Don't fail yourself, and don't end up like I used to be where I'd mention I wanted to work out and people would laugh.  It's not a good feeling.

Lifting weights in the morning generally sucks, would suggest doing it later in the day.

Work out, eat less greasy/ fast food, drink water or just unsweetened drinks like Iced Tea and don't have soda to often like maybe once a week. It may sound stuffty but I used to be a soda addict and I ate so much sugar but now I don't drink soda very often and some how I have managed to keep a healthy weight even though I ate a lot of fast food

There is no process in the human body that converts stored fat into muscle.
Shut up.

i didn't mean literally goes to your muscles, but it helps you gain muscle when you eat all that, i don't know forget your couch

I sit on my ass all day doing art, homework and game's and I'm not a fatass.

Try doing less.
