generic guns. really? pretty much all guns are basically the same. you search up assault rifles, there are ones that look like the US's m14, ones that look like the French Famas, etc. anyway all guns are meant to kill so what the forget is your point?
and generic plot...ok, i get you there, but it's a war game, so, y'know. at least they aren't making you pay for more weapons (hopefully).
Yeah not so sure about the guns but the trailer doesn't really show a lot of high tech weaponry like expected in such a high tech future where you already have AI warriors.
I don't really think they will make a step up from the other games in the point of guns.
In the recent Call of duty games there are at least 40 weapons of which 5 are actually good / overpowered and the other guns are just stuff.

Anyways the name "Black Ops 2" is not fitting at all.
It does barely have to do anything with the original Black Ops game nor there are any "Black Operations" going on.
