V8 brought events and JVS doors along with all that good stuff. V9 just made them better.

Well lets think of V8 as the Industrial Revolution because that's when it was booming with epicness.

V9 brought events, V8 was released a year earlier than V9, and is where I spent the majority of my modding 'career'. JVS Doors required a downloadable GUI, then it was an item, then it was a brick, then it was a brick with events in V9, as Trader beta tested V9.

V8 had add-ons using directories instead of zip files, which meant people downloaded them wrong and forgeted it all up and we had to download add-ons/weapon_sword/weapon_carrot/item_flashlight/sword.dts. V8 also had the bug that getting in to vehicles hurt you.

V9 brought in events, better brick editing (turning off raycasting, collision, etc), etc. That in my definition is 'all the good stuff'. I hope v21 includes inverted slope corners. Roofs suck.

I don't trust 2k ids.

Honestly they may be able to impress newer players by their low id, but most experienced players know about how not all 2k ids are sold.  It's kinda dumb to buy a key from that site if your only purpose is to earn rep by having a low id, because it won't work with older players.  It really just makes you look like an alt of someone banned and desperate for respect.

Mines legit. But of course I don't go around acting like my low ID will get me respect.
I've seen people with 100 ranged ID's and they act like douche bags.

This is how I look at it. I've seen 30k'ers with more cred than a 1k're.
