Minecraft server hosting help

I forwarded port 25565. I made a static IP. What am I missing?

Restart the server and let me try to join. Fred seems to be the only one who's tried.
Also check your IP once more just in case.

I dunno, I don't even have this problem. Try restarting your router? Might need to in order to refresh the ports. (Unless this was a step you've already done.)

i tried every possible IP, with and without the extension. all of them end up with connection refused.

My piece of stuff modem took a good 10-15 minutes to turn back on.
