Author Topic: How many times has New York been destroyed?  (Read 2265 times)

I know it was, aren't all books better?
i wouldnt say so really

generally i've found books which were adapted into movies to generally have crazy story arcs and stuff in them. regardless, i didnt like city of ember. the ending (of the movie) was very dissapointing. its worse than star trek 5 imo. the special effects were cool though.

only movie i think was better than the book was probably hunger games
but then again i don't read a lot of books so i'm probably missing out on a lot

Fun Fact: Most movies set in New York are actually filmed in Pittsburgh because of it's similarities and it's cheaper to film there.

movie to me sucked, i liked the book better

Hm, let's take a look at this:

And this
and a lot of others.

No one ever destroys Reading.
The most I've ever seen it get a mention was in one episode of Doctor Who I think.
Goody. I'll be safe whilst you lot live in towns that are always destroyed. Good luck. :D

Kentucky has never been shown being destroyed. Win.

Don't forget Cloverfield.
Worst? The whole city is beat up by a monster thing and then leveled by a nuke. God Dang.
