You might have too unless you code your game to read sprite sheets

theres tools for it.

I'm trying to make a background for my platformer. Right now it looks terrible:


I couldn't find any tutorials on mountain pixeling. I tried to make a forest too, but it looks like a swamp giant died. Does anyone know some good methods for this sort of thing?

generate 3 perlin noise layers with similar but not exact seeds and overlap them. put some glow/shadow on and clean it up.
