Author Topic: 32.5 degree ramps  (Read 440 times)

I really need these ramps for the Star Trek Constitution Class project that I am working on. No, neither 45 degree or 25 degree ramps will work for the task i'm trying to do. The neck of a constitution class ship has to be sloped just exactly right on the front end to meet up with where the saucer starts to slope inward, while keeping the overall length of the neck pretty much even at both the top and bottom ends of the neck.

Anyways, it should have a look of in-between the 45 degree and the 25 degree ramp, but since it is this way, it needs to be 2x tall rather than 1x like other ramps, so that it can be 4x long (2x tall 45 degree ramp is 3x long, 2x tall 25 degree ramp is 5x long). I have recommended this to several modelers already but most of them do not seem to know what they are doing (they are mostly new to brick making, they admitted this themselves to me). I know that the BLB tools are coming out on the upcoming update, but it's been real long and im kind of anxious for someone to just make these bricks already.

I was thinking about maybe Demian might be able to model these. I've seen his models in the wedge ramp suggestion thread and it is very impressive. If not him, then someone else who has made ramp brickpacks before.

Also uh, if anyone is interested in making these, I would need them in both standard and inverted versions, in widths of 1, 2, 3 and 4, if you know what i mean.

Thought there was some in the Extra Ramps brickpack

2x plate height ramps, right?

That's completely different. Those are 65 degree ramps I believe. I need 32.5 degree ramps.
