No, not in my opinion; and please never build essence reaver on anybody besides maybe Ezreal, or any caster type adc.

the only time i get essence reaver is on nasus
i know hes not an adc obv, just on the topic of e-reaver

You have to think if the champion relies more on attack speed / taking down tanks or raw damage, etc botrk for vayne or kog, bt/ie for draven or trist, tho you can choose with some champs like twitch.

EDIT: just saying that bloodthirster isnt that viable anymore.

There are situations where I do build bloodthirster on trist though
It's generally more of a thing where you're watching enemy items and seeing the balance of health and resists.
