Thornmail makes sense.

In a weird way, trynd gets focused down quickly.

And if its by physical damage it just returns fire a bit

Basically thornmail on tryn is for dueling.

If you look at the enemy team's items, he really didn't need thornmail.

Honestly in 9/10 situations GA would be more applicable for tryndamere. But I hate criticizing people when they are still in early stages of learning because I feel like experimentation is the best way to play league. (For example when Fizz first came out I tried everything on him until I figured out what to build and when.)

or you could go with my friend's patented berserker greaves, IE, double PD, double BT build.

he used it on gangplank and i've never laughed hard enough.

(and maybe even try his patented mid ad shaco. then his support teemo.)

I agree completely on that. Trynd for me is more of a one trick pony, kinda like Sion.

He hits hard but other than that what is really accomplished?

Every other carry seems to have some kind of nifty pocket utility.(almost every other carry)

For example, Yi's meditate. It gives him HP regen, armor, and magic resist during the channel. There's no outgoing damage during meditation, yet he's still a melee AD carry. Ashe has hawkshot, it's active is something you'd most likely see on a support, but Ashe is not a support. It's still incredibly useful, especially it's level 5 range. Lee Sin can shield himself and an ally. Jarvan, Garen, Udyr, and Riven all have an ability that helps them survive. Renekton's ult damage is not why people like it either. It's the bonus health and fury regen. Shaco probably has the most utility kit I've seen on an AD champ. He has fear traps, invisibility/flash, and can clone himself. Olaf's ultimate gives him armor, magic resist, and immunity to CC.

What does Tryn have? His easy-shutdown ult? A gapclosing spin? A slow that no one ever uses appropriately? A heal that barely helps him? He's all passive autoattacks. His heal is only good for the passive damage and escaping DoTs. His passive itself is for his autoattacks. His ult just begs for crowd control. He really doesn't have anything but that.

also, watching low elo players dive turrets against teemo is funny.

I dive turrets as Malzahar against full health Nunus because I am pro.

Any easy way to counter Rumbles?

Any easy way to counter Rumbles?
rumble top is such an uncommon pick in my normal elo that i don't really know how to. if you're having troubles, he's not that hard to gank.

It's been so long since I've seen a Rumble...

So I sat down and actually did some math on the champs I play today. Turns out I've been playing Fizz with gimped damage ever since his release. lol I've been maxing R>W>Q>E when it should be R>Q>W>E

So uh yeah he now does about 1/3 more damage than I'm used to. I rape even harder now o.o

Infact I managed to 1v3 alone at level 6 vs Ryze, Cho'gath and mordekaiser. I juked cho's rupture with my Q (urchin strike) and used E to mitigate some damage and finish ryze. Then cho chased for a bit so i turned around and dropped him. At this point im at like 150 health and mordekaiser shows up from top so i run to my turret and mordekaiser dives me (He had full health) i exhaust him and dash onto him and he drops while his ult does no damage due to exhaust. *TRIPLE KILL*

Then i realised lolrecorder wasnt on :(

People underestimate exhaust. They think of it as a slow, when it's really a massive debuff to nearly all stats.
