Support is horribly misunderstood.

What people think support is: heal me and buy wards you exp hog
What support really is: Strong early game pokes, great buffs, aura carriers, early wards, needing less gold, laning with someone who needs gold more than exp while needing neither of it yourself.

I like support because even if you are terrible they don't blame you for losing the game. Unless you steal farm or die every 2 seconds.

All you need to do is hit W.

Yes. The people will be in your way if you try to just go straight for the turrets, and they will kill you then take your turrets.

as support in early game i can get kills by using lux's snare then having my lane partner do his super damage attacks while i buff his heath.
