Author Topic: [RTD][Dungeon Crawler][Waiting list] The Artifact - Act 2  (Read 15951 times)

Overview:

You and 4 others are on a quest for glory, searching around the globe for the lost artifacts of power. There are several locations that may or may not contain the lost pieces, and all of them are deadly.

How to play:

Because this is Roll to Dodge, I will roll the die after everyone has stated an action. The die will be marked as such:
he numbers on the six sided die are marked as such...
1) Epic fail
2) Kinda fail
3) Kinda success
4) Success
5) Perfect success
6) Overshot

Extra things to know:

- Everyone has their own classes, but you dont have to abide by the typical RPG laws. If you are a rogue, and cast a fire attack, you may do so, but you will receive a -2 to your roll.
- We will use the declare system. I will wait for everyone to state an action and then I will roll the die.
- You can and will die, eventually. You are not a god, and you will not be treated as one.
- You can accidently hurt your partners and yourself with an action. Think twice before lighting a room ablaze.
- Slots are on a first come, first serve basis, but you can still apply if you come late, you will just be put on a waiting list.
- Feel free to discuss situations and choices before you go ahead and do them, just make clear what your action is.
- At the end of every dungeon/act, there will be a chest that may or may not contain an artifact. I will roll to see what the artifact is.

Didnt think of a Rifleman, but sure. You're accepted. I lowed the required people down to 3 so we can get started quicker.

The Cave

Three brave adventures, Lancelot, Jack Golem, and Galroom have heard news of a "Staff of power" most likely one of the lost Artifacts of power. The rumours suggest that the staff could be found in a cave, by the Misty Mountains. Many adventures and knights avoid the area for the lack of knowledge there is about the creatures who are found within, but not these three. After days of traveling and hardships up and down the mountains, the adventurers find themselves at the mouth of a cave, fresh with snow. They all enter.

What will our brave adventures do next?

Sniffed the inside of the cave "Thar's clearly sum' kind o' artifac' here. Nice an' cold, too." He grinned a little, his beard nearly drug on the bottom of the cave, his rifle on his back. "Well then, let's get started, Human....Elf." He spat on the ground, walking into the cave cautiously.

Cast an illumination spell

Slide along the wall, searching for any dangers ahead

Pitbull, this Roll to Dodge, not an Rp. Luckily, im a loving awesome guy and ill still roll for you ;)

Pitbull rolls a 6, and enters the cave a little too carefully and accidently trips on his beard.

Cast an illumination spell
Lancelot rolls a 3, and casts an illumination spell and the cave is illuminated. Two passage ways can be clearly seen on both sides of the caves entrance.

Slide along the wall, searching for any dangers ahead
Masterockets carefully slides along the wall and is sure to scout out any dangers. He finds there is nothing in the room, and finds one of the passageways on the right side of the cave.

Detect magic on both doors

Gets up, dusting himself off. He'd attempt to go into the passage on the right, rather carelessly.
