I open the doors to the mall.

"Whoa..." I say to myself, gazing around.

"Well nobody else followed, I'll be inside the mall taping stuff together." I say before running off.

"Taping stuff?" I mutter to myself.

"Sounds fun!" I think before grinning and running after him.

"Maybe we should try to catch up now..." I say, taking Ryan's hand and beginning to walk.

What I'm trying to say is that, well, the fighting part can add personality. Yes, slow chats and relationships add to it too - But the combat part of it adds more intrest to it, rather than a slow part in a story.
I'm trying to say you should balance it out by adding a little more combat.

I don't see why you quoted me in there...

But it's true, I just joined this RP today and I haven't seen any action.

But it's still really fun without it. But I am looking forward to seeing how my character will react to action.

The crazies aren't zombies.
They're not going to waste their numbers on pointless attacks just to get themselves killed.
They're not stupid either, just insane.

There is combat
Lots of it
It balances out nicely, we spend some of our time running, some of our time scavenging, and the occasional fight.

So, continue RP now?

I finally catch up with Keith and say: "So, taping stuff together? Want to tape some furniture to the roof with duck tape?" :D

Yeah, you're right," I go hand in hand with her.

Whoops, wrong quote.

Irrelevant.

"Not what I meant. I meant to make me a 'sodding' weapon as the old man would say."

I haven't seen many fights.
Then you have hardly read anything.
What I said is relevant, it's why there aren't many fights.

"Not what I meant. I meant to make me a 'sodding' weapon as the old man would say."

My face melts into dissapointment.

Okay, I'm going to go to bed now in real life.. So just make up what my character does. Like sleep or something dormant. (Like gets knocked unconsious etc.)

I haven't seen many fights.

Then you haven't been reading a whole lot, there are fights, but both the crazies and the survivors try to avoid them.
