Author Topic: Which you perfer use server service of Kalphiter's or Lub's?  (Read 8735 times)

Is backtrace, like bad?
I'll say this:

Furling enables too many add-ons

:/

Ok then.
Backtrace is bad [in this specific scenario] regardless because it means something went wrong

Backtrace shows the location (by hierarchy) of where an error happens, such as when an invalid function is called. However, you can call backtrace(); and do the same thing.

I see. Thanks for the tip.

Datablock Report:

That's a pretty decent amount.

0-60 ping is all the same thing.

in fact, its not even concerning or noticeable until it hits 100.
its been the fact for any game in all of net gaming history

Unless you live in the same general area, most people can expect a long distance server ping of 100 - 300.

I've played in a number of pings, and you only notice it when it gets past 300. Otherwise it doesn't affect the game at all.

I spend my life at 300.
You say you notice it after 300, and I agree.

Key loving words.
Well it's not only me he's been nice to lol

Key loving words.

Don't like it when people say a giant richard is a good person just because they're selective about who they're nice to.
Not really sure what I've done to you to justify this opinion? I have time for everyone in this game and I'll talk to, and be nice to, anyone who isn't a complete egotistical, arrogant twat.

In response to later posts about latency, just looking at idle latency isn't the key. Looking at jitter on the route and how the network performs when loaded is as important.

Kalphiter's and Lub's service are both great, it's just I had a excellent chat session with Lub and he's putting me down as interested. So, basically a good experience.

I found this casuing problem was
Code: [Select]
==>backtrace();
BackTrace: ->ConsoleEntry::eval
I type console trace(1); and found no error are cleaned.
I let my server run for 24 hour test. wait and see what happened until it will going crashed. I will find out. kalp not want to find out what causing wrong.

I looked what Lub was talking about as far as MTR goes.

The nodes on the route (specifically of Cogentco) have higher ping times when they're responding to ping packets. They are perfect when packets pass through, however. Lub gave me an IP in the UK that I could ping, results were consistent at 99-101ms (note how it's the end point). Results for pinging nodes in between shot all over the place.

I don't know if points along the route normally have trouble responding to ping packets, but these certainly do.
