I don't understand it, because I've always looked forward when I'm walking

well we look at the ground in front of us, so we know when to stop if we're about to run into a wall or something lol
But I used to do it in shyness, I was afraid that people were always looking at me or thought I looked or acted funny. It was difficult for me to look up, once I did it helped a lot though, as you can probably imagine. lol

Don't be yourself then, or just act differently or don't express yourself as much. Most people I find annoying or akward are pretty weird and people  I wouldn't want to be around very much. There was this one kid in our class who was pretty weird and akward for about half the year. People called him  out on it a couple times and eventually he adapted to the social norms and got better. He's an ok guy now.
