that pre-show was interesting. here's the batch of news that is actually new:

The name of the controller is "Wii U GamePad"
Has brown townog sticks (< this was already know), said sticks can be pressed down like buttons (< new info)
Something about NFC Reader / Writer
Wii U Pro Controller, new controller similar to 360/PS3 controller. I want to know more about this one
Wii U will feature a form of message board, and has videochat.
(at this point I thought I swear Wii U = Wii Universe and then Miiverse was revealed. haha.)
Miiverse is just more Mii's doing more dumb stuff that has 3DS similarities
They are eventually releasing a Miiverse app/program.
