You won't be able to play TF2 well with those specs with that resolution.

Update your drivers using tails's link, then add me on Steam. I have the same card.

EDIT: Also, does it look anything like http://steamcommunity.com/id/tehcactus/screenshot/614966810929861282

No it has trouble loading.

You will never be able to play TF2 on such a god awful/old Intel GPU anyway.

There's your problem

Just kidding.

Does Macintosh OS support NVidia drivers?

I am thinking of getting a nvidia geforce 8500. Is it possible to replace a video card with a new one on a mac mini?

A Mac Mini is a tightly sealed box with only enough room to fit iPad processing components. So no.

Here's a hint: I had a Macbook with an Nvidia 9400m that had 256mb of vram with 2/3 of that screen resolution. I got like 30 fps on lowest settings on a good day.

Extrude is right. I had a Mac Mini, and I was barely capable to play Blockland. You are somewhat screwed.
Unless you can get a new computer or get components to make a good one yourself, you're probably gonna have to deal with the stuffty video driver.

it seems that having a mac really is your problem.

why would you even try to play games like tf2 or blockland on a mac mini.

thats like trying to use a horse to move a freight train
