To follow up on that, how the forget are they going to write Gordan out of dying there? What about Alyx? She'd clearly die, and if she didn't die, she'd question her morality a lot. And what from that point? How will they free mankind?
SPOILER ALERT!
Only Alyx's father Eli died, Gordan and Alyx are fine.

No stuff sherlock.
I mean at the end of Episode 2, don't you end up on top of the tower, about to kill breen, when suddenly explosion? Then Gman is all "ur going to bed again lmao" after time freezes and the game ends.

You should have put spoiler alert..
Hmm I forgot about that spot.. I think that the *SPOILER ALERT* Vortigaunts interveened with the proccess there and got you out.
Or something like that.

That's the end of Half-Life 2.
Go play Episodes One and Two.

SPOILERS (it's been like four loving years I'm not resizing this stuff): Gordon and Alyx are not only not in any imminent danger, they're at the rebel base so Valve could theoretically send them pretty much anywhere.

forget how long has it been sinceI last played... It has been a while.

As Skip said they are at the rebel base so yea.
SPOLIER! Being that they was on their way to the helicopter maybe you get a helicopter ride?

Im also sick of waiting.

Oh okay. It's been a while since I played, I just read up on it.
In that case the only other reason I can think of would be system requirements. Source is pretty outdated and they are waiting for something that would aid the production of the game.

The problem with Half-life 2 and so forth is that all you have is single player
do you want to loving die

do you want to loving die
Would you rather have a single player game you could enjoy once or a single player game and with a multiplayer challenge afterward?

Im also sick of waiting.

this is exactly what valve wants. everyone to forget about hl3 then boom
next day its on steam without any announcment

Half-Life 3 has probably been under development for 4 - 5 years for a good reason.

Valve has mentioned that HL3 will close up the entire story. It's probably a really, really big game.

They know how big of a demand for it is out there.

Don't worry. HL3 will be worth the weight wait.

You heard me say it.

I don't even want Half-Life 3 anymore, it has reached a certain point. They have crossed the line. Waiting for half life three went from a tease to now a stupid loving cause. All this wait has turned me off so much to the point I dont even want it anymore, and honestly don't care if its released or not.

And what made me come up with this:

that article reminded me of half life 3, then i got pissed.
bro. bro. BRO. all of us are mad. valve is trolling right now. but they CAN count to three.

Portal 2 Soundtrack 3.
