I've been wanting to get into Wargaming and D&D for awhile, but it's so expensive and I've got no-one to play with.

There are those guys, but most of the people who suck play Marines or Guard.

btw I think you're confusing SM and Guard with Tau, considering Tau are almost entirely designed around never having to close combat, which gives them the added bonus of being the most hated race in the game.

Most people I know play Space Marines for there tough Power Armor and Guard for the big tanks. Tau are just fodder for the Trukker armies.

Anyway If they bring out tanks, atleast I can count on the bomb squigs.

Good thing I don't run tank-heavy guard then.
