You mean don't have blood decals draw at all? r_cleardecals simply clears all currently drawn decals for you clientside. It doesn't stop more from being drawn after you use it.

I never understood that, since I enjoy insane amounts of virtual gore but can't stand the sight/smell/taste of real blood. Yeah, not everyone's like me, but still...figured I'd mention that.

Perhaps you could replace the "blood" texture? I have no idea how gmod works so I'm probably wrong, but it could be worth a shot.

I've replaced the blood texture before, in theory you should be able to track it down and replace it with a blank image (since deleting it would most likely just cause the game to redownload it)

Whatever the reason is, he doesn't want violence/gore in his game.  There's no reason to be inquisitorial about it really.
