It saddens me to see how disrespectful people are now a-days, even my own cousin is a total douche to elders... And he acts like he's so nice and all.

When I talk to elders I always use my manners, please and thankyou, no ma'am no sir, no sir, yes sir.
Its not that hard.
This is how my normal convo with the store clerk would go (just an example of how it should be)
