Mmkay, so this is Pheonix (Tez's only Super Admin).
First off, Tezuni is hosting this so that you people have more selection. I've seen him offer to host other things multiple times, so if you have a better idea for this server, then ask him about it (politely). Don't rag him on the fact that he's not there most of the time, I know sometimes I just want to throw my hands in the air and desert the place because of all the chaos this place brings. He doesn't have to host it; writing out rage filled comments about it won't help keep it around. Not everyone is doing this, but there are some people who have only posted a complaint, and no suggestion on what to do about it.
Anyways, Tez has been on an admining spree, and at last count, there were 12 other admins, so there should be less freekilling that people are getting away with. Also, I've been keeping an eye out for players who know the rules AND have a sensible head. These people I'm making mods so they can kick or forcekill said freekillers until they can get an admin to deal with it.
And in case anyone thought I don't ban enough, it's because:
1. I get people shouting freekill every 10 seconds, even though 90% of the time it's completely legit. Bit hard to keep up with that.
2. Banning people who did not actually freekill can really tarnish a server's reputation, so I try to wait to ban until I get enough people to corroborate the victim's claim, or until I actually witness it. And if two people are being richards and just killing each other back and forth, I let them continue with it as long as they don't bother the other players, then hand out a nice lengthy ban so they won't be back for a long time.
Sorry for all the grief this has caused people, but jail rp servers tend to attract idiots en masse. Or maybe it's just Blockland itself...
Either way, I hope that if you do decide to give the place a try again, it won't be such a horrible experience.
