Just ignore it, some people like this kind of stuff and don't even say "its a old stuff idea that's overused and is not good anymore" some people still like to play it and also every one knows that the person hosting has a bad background but it appears as if he is doing alright and hasn't caused a problem in awhile. If you hate it so much just ignore it instead of complaining about it on the topic.
