Found out how to work the eyes for Bloocobalt's enhanced citizens, eyes_updown and eyes_leftright doesn't work so you need to have localViewTargetFactor at 0 and select the viewTarget in the Animation Set Editor, then you can move it around to have the eyes go wherever the viewTarget goes, and i figured out a lack of phong was what was causing the AO to not affect the torso and legs, also, i found the flex sliders

Also, i find the DOF more confusing to use in the SFM than in Gmod, i feel like i have less control over where it focuses :(
