the reason confidence is attractive is because girls want a guy who's in control. girls instinctively want a man that reminds them of their father, ie tall, strong, confident, and domineering. this is more or less the same reason that girls raised in fatherless homes grow up to be notorious sluts. without any kind of role model, they develop their taste in men by sleeping around and taking chances.

guys also want a girl that's like their mother. and i've noticed that guys that tend to hate their mothers tend to be romantically inept, almost the complete opposite of girls that hate theirs or dont have a dad.
