Author Topic: family values and common sense?  (Read 1838 times)

Kinda wondered about the demographic here. People often throw slang around without actually understanding what it means, while still being accepting of LGBT peoples.

Thus, this poll.

So, are you homophobic or sensible? Discuss.

Neither. Otherwise I would be afraid of myself.

im not scared of or generally care about either of them so neither

Being gay here is pretty much idolized so much that a lot of kids here pretend to be gay or bi just to be part of some imagined club of uniqueness. There's very little family values on this forum apart from sarcastic family values that most people don't seem to catch on.

California doesn't exist

Quote
common sense (or less commonly cisloveism, transprejudice, and trans-misogyny, referring to common sense directed toward trans women as part of the larger cultural negativity towards femininity, or trans-misandry, referring to common sense directed toward trans men) is a range of negative attitudes and feelings towards transloveualism and transloveual or transgender people,
Wikipedia, That's a real confusing sentence :(

Fourteen years ago it became the Peoples Republic of California which has caved in on itself.

Now as for gay people I don't mind them, since one of my friends is gay. Gender confused/changed people are wierd bunch to me.

Yeah, transgender is normally known as men transitioning into women/women transitioning into men, although they have to cover the fact that it also includes interlove (both), and gender queer (neither, 3rd gender, etc)

Gender confused/changed people are wierd bunch to me.

I used to have problems with this, It doesn't bother me now though

Bump for knowledge

1. Person doesn't like gays
2. Gay calls them homophobic
3. Person isn't scared of gays, just doesn't like them

scenario happens all the time

Yeah, it kinda depends on how they act, some people act really extreme and are kinda weird to be around...

i used to think this until i looked up the definition and it said it also means you hate gays
but its still a point, everyone who doesn't praise gays isn't a family man

I imagine after the whole gay rights thing the next fight will be for trans gendered people or polygamy, then gay polygamy, then gay robot polygamy.
