You stood there enraged at what happened. That wasn't what you asked for at all. You span around and noticed the former Mercenary was gone and had scurried off somewhere. You could feel Sphere's gaze burn into your back as you turned to face him.
"He died before I could get to him, what better gift than to let him live twice?"
"It's because you took your precious time!"
Sphere ignored your anger and tossed a map at your feet.
"You're welcome to this town, however if you want to leave you're going to need one of these. This land is treacherous just like the city. There are safe havens marked down in red. Since Snno seems to have a particular fondness for you You're now paired with her. If we see you anywhere around this town without her we will be suspicious."
Sphere turned and disappeared back into the building, leaving you on the dusty streets. Looks like the day for the Mutants is over. Not many of them came out of the houses after the fight. Snno crawled back out from her hiding spot.
