Do you think Mr. Hartman should put his game on Steam Greenlight for us to vote on?

Yes!
No. (Specify)
I'm not sure...

The server list would be off the loving chart though, which wouldn't be good.

There'd be a bunch of dedicated servers at the top that everyone always joined, and all the creative servers at the bottom that no one would ever see.

you can open like GTAIV from windows and not have steam running, but games like TF2 and stuff need it to be

but you still need steam running in the background?
As in the process? I think so, but I don't know for sure.

Ahh what about us kids with crappy computers?  I can't run Steam AND Blockland..

I'm pretty sure you do, when I open a game. A gray window pops up and says:
Preparing to launch [game].

EDIT: Thing is, steam doesn't work on MacBooks

for the video thing we can just use Eksi's trailer

Steam barely uses any resources from you're computer unless you are already running a game, which still isn't that much.

Macbooks that are like 2007+ should work.

suddenly i am very excited

Macbooks that are like 2007+ should work.
Yes, just that some games aren't compatible with Mac, but this shouldn't be a problem for Blockland.

What do I need in order to submit my game?
You'll need a valid and non-limited Steam account (yes, that means you'll need to own a game on Steam). Then, you'll need to fill out the submission form, including some information about you and your game. The submission will require:

A square branding image (similar to a box cover) to represent your game in lists and search
At least 1 video showing off your game or presenting your concept
At least 4 screenshots or images
A written description of the game along with tentative system requirements

Would Badspot buy a game?

Would Badspot buy a game?
I think all the money he got from Blockland, he could buy a $5-$10 game just to even consider Blockland going on Steam.

need a game on steam to have a game i made on steam?

better buy fortix!

Badspot already has a Steam account and has a few games. I know for a fact he has Left 4 Dead 2; he plays with Rotondo and others sometimes. So that isn't a problem.

Badspot plays Left4Dead2 with Rotondo and Kompressor, no duh he owns steam.
