My friend bought me this on the indie bundle,

how do i redeem the code :I?

Oh, man, I love the campaign. I ignored it until recently, but after playing it I just love it. I prefer being the attacker, because I like breaching bunkers SWAT style, and the AI tends to not last long if they're the attacker from what I've seen. Grab someone with a scanner, rifle and a couple grenades and send them out towards the enemy. Find the brain bot's rabbit hole and toss a grenade or two down there, then execute it if the bitch survives.

Holy stuff. Dummies can be unforgiving. In the campaign, I was trying to assault one of their outposts. However, they had dummies all over the place which had repeater cannons which are loving tough to put up with. After several tries, I finally succeed in driving out the dummies and take over the base in an epic battle. Fun stuff.

The best mod I can recommend is the UniTec mod.

i never install more than a few mods, because the game always forgets up and doesn't load because stufffin99 forgot to zip up his mod, or the buy list gets cluttered with 5 "heavy pistols" or "fire grenades"

Dummies. Oh god, I hate storming their outposts. A bunch of short towers/pillboxes, each one with a guard with a scout rifle on top and some kind of automatic weapon inside, surrounding a single entrance. I finally killed all the guards, after losing several men to things like flying dummies and snipers, then breached the main door. Dreadnought ambush. I eventually had to go through a pillbox to avoid the dreadnoughts, then lost another 4 men before finally killing the brainbot because it was in a hallway where one side had a death port, like certain pieces of WWII architecture. The other side of the hallway had the brain and a dummy behind it down some stairs. I eventually killed the guy in the port by throwing a soldier with a compact assault rifle down there and firing into it like a madman. Then I sent down a guy with a grenade and auto shotgun, threw the grenade down the stairs and unloaded the shotgun into the brainbot, killing it before the explosion.

why is it that bots always kill me first when i have the same weapon/character? am i that bad?

The bots are surprisingly good at times, through pure dumb luck. I lose to them in firefights a lot. If you have a powerful, but slow-firing weapon, like the Coalition heavy sniper rifle, aim for the head or legs. Their weapon will almost always catch the bullet if you aim for the torso, which shatters the gun but leaves them unharmed and you with a long time before you can fire again.

i wish you could simply press a key to melee things instead of having to bring a digger

Note to self: don't use dropships to bring in units when under fire. Use crates instead.

EDIT: I like grappling hooks. Here's a short guide on breaching like a bawws using grappling hooks:

is there anyway to start out a campaign attack with another brain unit, like an armored brain soldier from a mod, or am i stuck using the stuffty default brainbot made out of twigs and paper?
also, what music do you guys listen to while youre playing?

unitec V. space marines
the CPU won't spend enough to get space marines, so they use zombies and skeletons
the cpu attacked me on that one mountain map, with snow on some of them
they landed, then i blindly fired with a sniper unitec soldier where they landed, and i suddenly hear and explosion and i win
they attack again, instead of trying to cap the new gold source that was just found
once again, i blindly fire at the spot, hear another explosion, and win again
same soldier, too

guys

WH40K mod

multi-melta

>order space marine and load him up with awesome stuff
