I've never understood why people leave big holes between some of their roads...

You mean where the players build their houses?  I always hated that system, that's why I'm making a city RPG out of events, so that I can just make a field of grass for them to build on.

I'd love to play. It'd be neat seeing a city RPG without a mod... I've considered doing it myself but I haven't been sure of the variables and relays... That, and how it would save the variables. If you leave the server and reconnect, you lose your variables, but then again I'm still learning small tidbits of VCE.

So that said, I'm making the fair assumption there is also a LoadVariable event... But for these variables to stay i.e. be "saved", the server must remain up, yes?

BULLstuff you serious? I would've done VCE cities and stuff a LONG time ago had I known that...
On that note, if my server is up and yesterday I made a sci-fi server and had the variable "Laser", and today I'm hosting medieval and try to load "laser", I'll wind up with my variables from the day before, correct?

There are only about two buildings that i duped, one for Townhouses, the other is the strip mall.  Both should be duped because they need to follow similar designs.

I don't get why people bitch about duplications that aren't spammed.  There was a reason that the duplicator was made, and it was to dupe bricks.

I have updated the OP with all new pictures of the current (August 2, 2012) city.

Yup, the gridular design was used so that more time could be spent on eventing.

I'm surprised you said roads, because they have had good reviews in the past.  Then again, that was the past, like a year and a half ago.  Maybe I should update my roads for the landscaped version of this city.

I am awaiting an event to be made by Evar678, to edit a variable of every client/player, for paychecks and other currently, secret stuff.

Unfortunately, my computer shat out on me and I can't do more work on this until I get it running again, I blame the two viruses on it that have also probably been loving with my server.
