Doesn't work that way I'm afraid, minors can be charged as adults in some cases, most of the time though as a minor you won't be thrown in though, it all depends on what you did, and what the judge thinks, your best bet is to cry your eyes out. again best of luck to you with the this trouble.

Actually if you are arrested you go to the police station for processing, then jail(or you bail is payed and you wait for your trial), then you go to your hearing where charges are pressed and you plead guilty/not guilty, if not guilty then the trial, if you are found innocent you go free, if guilty you have the sentencing hearing, then you go to juvy/prison and serve your time.
