Not really, the lesson was don't walk onto some abandoned property because someone will get butt hurt about it. AFAIK the property was abandoned so noone owns it, unless some bank took it or whatever. Anyway the county will try to make whatever money off you and let the system do the rest. Just try not to get into a habit of doing this. Anyway you don't sound like the repeat offender type so you might be good. Just remember trial by Jury, not the Judge.
