Everyone is a prick and would kill each other for power.
That is a fact.

No, that's an opinion and political view. And it is absolutely entirely unrelated to this thread.

The last one is true

oh my god what lol

I believe that religion is kind of narcissistic, people thinking that man is so special when it''s not. We just happened to have a string of great luck when it came to evolution/ migration. Humans are just like any other animal, it's just that we think that we're above other animals.

it's just that we think that we're above other animals.
May i introduce you to the food chain?

I mean that people believe we're not animals, and we have the right to use any animal we see fit.

Rights are a human construct. Technically we have no rights. Rights are simply agreements among humans to allow other humans to do something. So, we do have the right to use any animal as we see fit, because the general consensus is that we can do so.

Why were you looking up Scrotal Inflation?

daedalus your first post just kicked its own ass

"just as you can't prove religion, you cannot disprove it."

you just called atheists and religionists dumb as hell

because they cant prove it and atheists cant disprove it

btw work on my op
that's exactly what I mean :D
and ok I will later
Yes I can. If Jesus had existed with his almighty omniscient powers then he wouldn't have indoctrinated his followers with incorrect beliefs. The reason that things in the bible are wrong are because people didn't know back then. If Jesus had no clue that the sun was actually the center of our solar system and that our solar system is less significant in the universe than a single atom is on earth, then he probably had no idea about the existence of a god.
See, there's your problem. You cannot prove Jesus's omniscience false, which leads me back to my first contention. The bible isn't a collection of facts, it's a storybook. I don't remember hearing about the earth being the center of the universe. Besides, you realize that there are intelligent religious people, right? And even if there were fallacies in the Bible, they still believe in God. I think the Bible is bullstuff, too, trust me, but you have to understand why people believe in it. It's all based upon God existing and having the powers that he is supposed to in the Bible.
honestly, I think theism is dumb as hell
just as you can't disprove religion, you cannot prove it.
#hashtag
yup, this too.
Furthermore, just because it cannot be disproven doesn't mean it should be believed in. To make a popular argument, there is no proof that a flying spaghetti monster doesn't rule our universe, so why don't people believe that?
Sure, I have no problem with that first statement! I don't believe in God, and I think theism is just as illogical as atheism.
And the reason people don't believe in the flying spaghetti monster is because no one has been indoctrinated for thousands of years to believe in him ;)

Rights aren't ALWAYS agreements. They're more like... powerful suggestions. If a murderer runs loose killing the people, he'll be stopped because it's in the common interest. It's not exactly an agreement - it's just that the general population has the power to stop the dissenters.

I just did disprove Jesus' omniscience...

and it is in the bible that the earth is the center of the universe, however it's not preached because if it were people would be like "That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard" and leave the church.

No one has the right to kill other humans, because it isn't in agreement between humans that it is okay. It is, however, a general consensus that humans have the right to free speech in America, therefor it's granted as a right.

So, Daedalus, I see you won't let go of your definition of atheism as 'believing or claiming to know there isn't a god'
"Believing something and not believing something are both equally stupid!"
There is no option left if you exclude both believing and not believing. I'm not even sure what point you're trying to make anymore.

that's not true, what are you talking about? the bible is religious stories which cannot be proven false without a time machine.
What I believe he's referring to are all sorts of supernatural explanations for things that we now have natural explanations for. These things are disprovable
