does the sun use the game's real east and west?
It can be rotated and adjusted in custom if it doesn't already.

Just read and modified. Badspot said they can be adjusted by any admin. That sucks.

Aww..

There's going to be so much map griefing.

There's add-ons for that.

I have a core i7 @3.4Ghz + Geforce GTX 560 ti.  In the scene in the video I get ~196 fps.  Shadow quality can be reduced if you need more performance and of course shaders can be disabled altogether.
Hah cool that's the exact same specs as my computer. What's your case?

I wish environment settings were host only.
I can't see them not being host only.

In the video I think I see him rotating the sun on the horizon, so I'd assume not.

edit: one of the controls is solar azimuth, so yes he was rotating the sun on the horizon.

loving awesome. Can't wait!

Looks pretty cool, though I still think map changing should be host-only

Instead of fixed maps, the new version of Blockland will feature a set of environmental controls that can be adjusted by any admin on the server.

I can't wait. Looks amazing. :D

Now to watch the video once again, to be excited one more time.

Why are you giving admin to people who will grief you?
