v21 rolls off the tongue and people prefer to call it that since it's a large update. At least people know what we are referring to, even though it isn't official. No need to get riled up because people aren't calling it what you want to.

This is going to be a major update - Having it attributed to an otherwise insignificant revision number makes no sense. We still have version numbers, I'm sure they will increment it for the next version considering how large a change between the two is coming.

Shadows and Shaders seems more like a whole new version than a simple revision if anything.

we made a small revision to blockland: new engine and completely different graphics along with the removal of maps that have been around since v7

real simple revision guys no biggy

There's also the part where it still says Version 20 in-game, so the numbering system isn't completely scrapped obviously.
