Indeed. But, they still have to send a request to youtube to get the player properties. Too many requests at once would cause browser lag.

There should be a limit like one per page.

A whole bunch of images on one page lags as well. I still wouldn't want embedding. I think it's kind of stupid. I prefer to watch YouTube videos on YouTube.
