The new G1s are at the approximate level of the G3s from the previous project, namely that they posses superhuman muscle building possibility, improved reaction times, an above average immune system, and heightened senses. The genetic coding that caused the brain anurisms has been isolated and eliminated from the coding of the new G1s.

If it doesn't reflect some light, then it doesn't reflect all light, so it'd be shiny as hell and work like it's supposed to, or dull and not work at all.

Either way, we can shoot it and it will still generate heat, so it'd still cook soldiers in their armor.
