Watcher how the forget did you et 3 million mines set up in such a short period of time?

Apparently they were already placed there, but I call bullstuff, because no one would willingly place mines on beaches where civilians may tread, only during war time.

I do agree with that, but he still could have buried landmines, but they would be spread too thinly to be vastly effective.  They could've killed like 50-300 soldiers.

Mines aren't necessarily pressure-sensitive.  The correct way to phrase it would be "Detonators."

Most mines, when referred to as land mines, are usually activated by a pressure trigger, or tremble switch.  Some can be trip wires as well, I suppose, but the mines your are thinking of are explosive charges.
