I think this is a sizable army to be able to take on a relatively small terrorist group.  Probably more than necessary.
+ All Active ETOSD Units.
It wasn't a terrorist group, it had control of the entire country.

So an extremist liberal party within Kintharia.  Practically terrorist.

Well they technically are terrorists but they were very well armed. Nevertheless, the Erinamese force could easily break through their undisciplined lines.

This.

The NMSSDA Colonel takes out a PDA, looks at it, then begins walking down another alleyway.  He comes out on a street, abandoned and ruined.  He runs down the street, the entire team following.  They soon arrive at the next substation, and they repeat the same process as before, shutting down the rest of the power in the city.

The Colonel picks up his radio, "Power is out, railgun defenses should be down.  You are go for invasion."

Meanwhile, at the forward operations base, the radio operator announces the message, and soldiers, MBT's, MRGS's, and NGET's advanced, they begin marching forward, taking down the opposing force bit by bit.

miko president!

Yay, the power is off.

Suddenly all the ERLU-123s turn on, and head off for the nearest subway stations.  They start broadcasting sonar and communicating with eachother.  They find that there is an uncharted tunnel on the Northwest side of Lyos and begin relocating to that point.  ERLU-123s in that area are currently digging that area out to create a large enough tunnel to allow a huge force to travel through it.  The digging and infiltration process will be controlled by Erinaum.

ERLU-44s start cleaning up ruined buildings and heap piles of rubble to the Northeast side.

Erinamese soldiers follow the ERLU-123s to the Northwest side of Lyos in transporters and dropships.

Erinamese soldier take heavy resistance from unusually well-trained insurgents in the tunnel.

Four TC-842s roll into the tunnel, firing large laser blasts from the main and side turrets.  The force is quickly exterminated.

Vanguard units rush into the tunnel to stamp out any resistance.  They carry MWR-11RM18Cs.  These guns require no energy pack and use miniature GET reactor cores.  These are the modern equivalent of the Erinamese Elite that were a feared force from AD990-AD1640.

^good example of power gaming right there.
we honestly have no way of resolving wars. if we're on a video game forum, why don't we resolve battles with video games? I already have a good one in mind.

It's not powergaming when you spend 20+ pages developing the technology for it while in peacetime.  I had this stuff for 8 pages now.

Vanguards clear the way for more ERLU-123s to penetrate the rock, but a blast rings out in the tunnel, and 3 Vanguards go deaf, their eardrums instantly ruptured.  a group of 5 Vanguards are killed by falling rocks and the tunnel is sealed.  The sonar from the ERLU-123s could not tell if there were any escape routes for Steel Legion, but if there is, they may be making an escape.

EDIT:  God damn it herp, update the year already.  It should be like 2036 by now.

It's powergaming if you say a highly-trained force is eradicated in 12 seconds. Laser tanks are no better than real tanks.

Also, this is W2100. You can create your own units. It's free too so it's the perfect game for resolving battles.

Well, do you think that they'd be trained to combat lasers?  I doubt it, since the first target that they had to attack was Kintharia, which as far as I know, has no standard-issue laser weaponry.  Also, it is much more likely that they were quickly-trained since their operations would be found mostly underground and that they were constantly attacked.  Basically, their soldiers would be pouring in, but would be falling through their hands like sand.
